Villa X

Today, this green place in the wider center of Bratislava is still an overgrown jungle, but things are changing. Even after gradual cultivation, the predominance of greenery will remain, but the wilderness will be replaced by a complex of family houses. The concept of the territory is based on the effort to create a composition of objects thoughtfully placed in the landscape framework, while each of the houses should have as many interesting views as possible and at the same time maximum privacy. Everyone is a unique member of the community, but in terms of both material and artistic aspects, they admit belonging to one family. The design of Villa X works with the idea of a terrain wave, thanks to which both floors have access to the garden. The lower floor was mainly occupied by children's rooms, one level higher is the main living space and the parents' night area. Life in the garden also includes a terrace with a swimming pool. The linearly designed villa, despite its generous surface area, has a subtle effect and declares the intention of unobtrusively merging with the surrounding environment. co-authors: Eugen Kullman, Ondrej Strýček
